ZAGalleryLogo Design Contest

Hello Designers: Thank you for being our first responders.
Some feedback to tweak:
#1/#2 ZAG is not clearly identifiable.
#3 Is what I have on my website already. I like the backwards lettering and the shape the Z and Y make sort of zig zag... Maybe if it was made to look like a reflection or something with more design element to it it might work better.

Looking for: Innovative, creative and cutting edge.
These are a bit on the serious side I think.
Perhaps if we have ZAG occupy the box a bit more, or remove the box, make it smaller incorporate an emblem idea with some interesting geometry added?

#6 This looks a lot like the impromptu "logo" I drafted and I like the addition of the line. I would like to see some more design element to the look-n-feel of this.
#8 We like the reflection and the prism that makes ZAG look monumental. The gold bottom line is a nice break in the blue hue too.
#4 This one could be interesting with zag placed in those boxes. We prefer sans serif, and have been using Century Gothic for lack of a stash of fonts. Run with this.
#5 I love the dots but it is difficult to read and appears to be ZAE... if this can be resolved it might work.. even use shades of blue.

FIRST: the designs are fantastic and we would love to use all of them~
some feedback:

blue and white are our main colors, so do not use black.

we are trying to create an emblem from the lettering with the Z really taking most of the attention (as name of gallery)... whether Z A G or z a g - focus on the Z :)
and keep it tight.

We will be selecting the winning logo in the next couple of days.
