Hi Athy,

Thank you for your entry. In regards to entry # 47, I think it looks clean and professional which is what I am looking for however I was wondering if you could submit a few more ideas. I like the use of the blue and gray. Do you have any ideas on incorporating a globe? I reviewed your portfolio and you have come up with the great logos. I'm very interested and would love to see some additional ideas.

Thank you for all of your efforts!!!

Hi Athy,

Since I have not seen any additional entries from you, would you be able to explaing the concept that you were going for in #47. I have to make a decision soon and your design is definitely still in the running.

Please let me know.

Thanks!!

Hi carosh
Sorry I was away until now.
I was actually going for a professional design that shows a trusted, mature company instead of any other playful design with complicated meaning and cartoonish people in them. You don't want your customers to believe your company to be very playful and less dependable.
The curved line is an abstract world segment (horizon) (imagine how you would see the horizon from space) and it's position shows trust and make the viewer feel secure. Remember a logo must not be in your face and necesarily comunicate what the company does (you have the word TRANSLATIONS in there and it's pretty suggestive don't you think?) but instead must convey a feeling and must be memorable. Regular globes are all over and too many companies are using them. Whatever way you try it, it will still look like another company's logo.
I went for a more classic font to suggest a respectable and trustworthy company with a lot of experience.

I will be uploading some more variations today and hopefully some other out of the box concepts today.

Thank you!

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your additional entries and your feedback. I have always liked Entry #47 and we are strongly considering it. Your other designs are interesting as well however I think #47 appeals to me the most.

We only have a few more hours and should have a decision soon.

Thank you for all of your efforts!!!

Hi Alex,

The only thing that might be worth seeing is #47 using a few different font styles to make sure that font is the best look. I think it looks good but that would be my only suggestion.

Thanks!!
