Thank you so much! One of my concerns with the circle is that I don't have the flexibility to use the logo when I need a longer more horizontal shape - eg at the bottom of a powerpoint presentation. I do like the font, so would it be possible to see another optiont without the circle and longer more horizontal version? many thanks
Thank you for your new logo. The concept is good, however it just doesn't seem to have the visual appeal of the two top ranked logos. I think the "s" is a little too stylised- thank you
Hello, would it be possible to do a version of #55 with a lower case "m" for mentor? Also is it possible to show a vertical version of #55 that is with the 3 words stacked on top of each other, similar to #24, however with the words more similar in size. Many thanks - YSM
Thank you for your suggestion. Changing the "m" into lowercase might be a good idea, but arranging three words vertically without changing the size would be hard to implement. Please find it on my latest update. Thanks.
I think the upper case M looks best. You are right about the difficulties in stacking vertically - it just doesn't look quite right. Is it possible to have another go at a vertical stack with a capital M? (Using your creativity to get the proportions right). Also I am curious - do you have a favourite design? Many thanks - YSM
Well, to be honest my favourites so far is still #22. And #55 at second place. I made the circle at #22 intentionally as a counter balance of the vertical stack of the words where dynamically unbalance to the eye, so it feel balance wherever you place it on your publication. But of course if you prefer horizontal layout, entry #55 would be the best choice. Thanks.
Thank you. I agree #22 is lovely, however the reason I currently have a preference for #55 is that if it is seen from a distance eg - shopping bag/or PowerPoint presentation - it is much easier to make out what the words are - therefore it is more legible. Also if it is necessary to print it at a very small size - eg: on a pen, all the words will be legible. I am interested in a vertical stack where all the words are a similar size - therefore more legible if printed smaller. Is it possible to have another go at a vertical stack with a capital M? Many thanks - YSM
I think the problem with vertical layout comes from the tail of the letter "y" in "your". So, changing the "y" into capital letter might works in my opinion. Reference entry #69 #70. Thanks.
thank you so much. #70 is probably better balanced, but #69 seems to have more aesthetic appeal. I think I have exhausted all options - so just need to sit with the designs for now. If you have any further inspiration please feel free to submit. Many thanks YSM
Hi YSM, After seeing you ranked the #25, I saw that the "Style" portion on this layout is too dominant, so here I made some changes #80, and also considering you need to place the logo on a horizontal media like a pen. I hope this help. Thank you!
Hi Gloria, I have just uploaded some samples of how the logo would be seen as a watermark or in transparent colour when we place it on glass (window or door), so I tried a grey colour. Well, I imagine something like DVF logo were made in window sticker for their store. Reference entry #81 #82 Thank you!
Thank you. I'm just trying to decide between #80 and #25. #80 is good because the smaller words are now more legible, however the overall look seems to have lost some of its flair. I think this is due to the word your being positioned higher on the "S" of style. It's only a small thing but seems to have made a difference. Thank you for the new designs also. Regards YSM
Well, actually the word before "S" is not higher, but the word "Style" is smaller. Please see my latest update #85. It is the middle placement between #80 and #25. Thanks.
Thank you for the time and effort you have put in to creating a logo for Your Style Mentor - I have selected #80 as the winner - congratulations!! I look forward to working with it every day as I build and develop my new business. Many thanks - Gloria, YSM
