I should explain my thinking a bit: 'YOO' seems to me to be a bit of a play on the word "you" and since "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", as is often said, I was thinking of a double entendre with respect to my tagline - a) 'You [the viewer of art in general and reader of our webzine in particular] - the final word in modern ceramic art' and b) 'YOOART - the final word in modern ceramic art'.
If we are to go with two colours, they need to compliment one-another while still allowing the name to read as a whole. Your suggestions are most welcome...
I have a question - do you recall the bit of space between the dot and the bottom of the letter T in some of my earlier entries such as #103 ? That bit of space might be helpful to us in the current design as it will allow for a broader range of colour combinations without any two given colours 'bleeding' into one another - either literally and perceptually. Just a thought...:)
...let me know if you need to see variations. By the way, trust that if my design is chosen, I'll be happy to work with you to your complete satisfaction even after contest close. Cheers, Steve.
