YES! EDGELogo Design Contest

Great logo the YES! LEADS! :D

Just to clarify again -

1. We want to create a logo for our new program YES! EDGE.

Within that logo we want to feature a mascot for the program - who will be called EDGE HEAD.

2. We see EDGE HEAD as a male - in elementary. With brown hair - perhaps spikey hair.

3. After our contest ends we'll contract for different images of EDGE HEAD - so that we can change his outfits, positions, etc.

Hopefully this clears up some confusion.

Would you consider a mascot that is not a "person/kid" There are sometimes issues when a mascot is identified with a particular look that is associated with human characteristics (ie race or hair style) that limits the program reach. A mascot that is maybe an animation of a letter, symbol, or an animal might have more reach with that market. Just asking for general input the whole design group before attempting a design.

I would consider a mascott that is not a person/kid absolutely. Thanks for asking.

We are eager to see some original ideas for a mascot - that are non-human.

Does anyone have any ideas? We'd like to stay away from the animals that we've already seen...

We'd like to have the character have spikey hair.

We also need to add a tag line on it:

From Senator Libous and Lourdes Hospital

Can you please try adding the "From Senator Libous and Lourdes Hospital" like in the logo for our YES! LEADS program - a JPEG of which is attached to our contest brief.

We like the look of this and want to keep it similar.
