Thank you for giving me such a wide variety of styles. I like how much emplasis "Yes!" has in #1 & #4 but think they have too many colors. They seem too busy, instead of simple & clean. # 2&3 - I like the simplicity of the font but they the designs feel too conservative.
What is really speaking to me are several things: a more three-dimensional "Yes" (as in #2)(but subtle, not shouting, as #2 does quite well) ) in a slightly more edgy font (as in #s2, 3 & 4) that says irreverent and fun, coupled with a corporate, elegant & clean "MEDIAWORKS" as in #s 1,2,3,4). I'd also like to see the M and W slightly larger, while keeping all caps for MEDIAWORKS. And I am interested in the mirror image effect below MEDIAWORKS as in #6 but straight and more subtle. The interesting colors of #1 really caught my eye.
Thanks to all of you - this is a difficult thing, figuring out how a logo says all you want it to say. Way, way harder than I thought it would be!
Wow. I am blown away by how hard designers work to make the client happy, and how hard it can be to figure out what works. Kudos to all of you for some terrific designs.
some feedback on design would be very helpful in letting the designers now what you like and dont like. it will also help you get the best logo possible
Could you please keep comments related to your new entries to your entry discussion area? The main contest discussion is for general discussion and banter. If everyone starts posting like that the contest discussion would be completely overrun.
SeanEstrada, I have not said anything about our design similarities until now. Your designs are becoming more and more similar to my design and it's starting to get irritating. You have nearly the same font, in the same position, with a shadow, and now you're beginning to copy my gradient placements.
Sean - from the client's perspective, I'm feeling flooded by your designs. So many and so many that are so similar that it's impossible for me to see what's different about each. And yes, I agree with the comments above, that your designs have now become the same as Raspy's. And I cannot in good conscience rank copies.
You have your own style and developing and honing that style is what will win you prizes. Work hard on your own vision. There is no shortcut.
