I have submitted a few designs for your review. My thought process is doing something out of the norm and not including the entire fish. The reason I have done this is to give you something that can not only be reproduced very easily and cleanly on apparel items (shirts, visors. sunglass straps), but also to give you a brand image that people remember once they "get" what the design represents. The two most dominant attributes to a yellowfin tuna is the tail and fins in my opinion. I have chosen the fins for my designs.
Thank you could you perhpas try a few other colours for the text. Silver ?? What about having another fin coming out the bottom of the design. I like where this is headed it is subtle but stil gets the message accross
Hey, thanks for the feedback. I have submitted a few designs with your suggestions. I will be away from the computer for the next several days (yep, gone fishing of the coast of North Carolina). I will be back Sunday evening. Leave me feedback and I will address those when I return If I am lucky enough to be in the top 5.
I have uploaded some revisions and also another letter style. I have also uploaded a version in solid black and white. I always like to see if the design will stand on its on in solid black and white since you may need to reproduce the logo without color or gradients (eye candy). Let me know your thoughts.
Fishing report off of the NC coast was a Little rough, so we fished inshore and caught several Drum and flounder. My buddy just got back from Hawaii and he did land a 156lb Yellowfin. I have to admit I was pretty jealous of his catch.
Entry 92 like this but would like to see the blue colour a bit darker towards navy black. also if possible can you make the mouth of the fish a little smaller it looks a little large to me.
91 is great too same issue as above. I will ultimately need one wide banner artwork and one smaller shirt / logo so very happy with your concepts again
During the judging period, ONLY the first ranked designer may submit revisions. You may re rank as needed until you make the final decision. I have the revisions ready and will keep an eye out for a change in rank and upload as soon as possible. Thanks
Entry #115 I have used the same color blue in the fish for the outline around Yellow Fin and the word Tackle. What are your thoughts...it may be hard to see in the small format on the screen. Color is something we can tweak along the way.
Heading back to the coast today. I will take my computer with me in case you need other revisions. I may be a little slow getting to them, but I will take care of it ASAP.
