Hi ~ Sorry you withdrew your logo. I'm just getting around to writing feedback on all the entries. We're supposed to rank them, so I did, but I had a hard time doing that, because it implies a dislike of something, which isn't the case at all. I found all the entries to be fascinating and I'm still studying them. I really liked your spotlight image a great deal, and I liked the fact that it was very clean. Thanks for contributing!
Hi... just had to add that I got feedback from my artistic team, and many of them liked yours the best. You do realize, right, that Logo Tournament asks that we rank these because it's supposedly better for the designers and for the contests? Just wondering if you realized that.... It's a shame that they're asking us to do something that obviously offends or runs counter to what the designers are expecting. And it's of no use at all to me to have something entered and then pulled before I and my team are really finished talking about it. Just thought you should know.... Thanks.
..sorry, i did not withdraw on purpose, i have only just noticed when you sent the message !! I was clearing my older entries out in 'my section' of LT, and i must of mistakenly withdrew it - oops.. I have reinstated it now.
Great!! I'm so glad. I was really bummed because I thought that my ranking them had made you think we didn't care for it. I've "unranked" them. I don't know that it really helps anything.
In any case, a few people have commented on the "Y" in the design, and that it looks almost like a mask. I don't know if this is an appropriate request to make, because it's a rather substantial change, but is there any way you could flesh that out? Does that make sense? Somehow work on the image of a theatrical comedy mask to go with the "Y"? Sorry if I'm not communicating well.... THANK YOU!

Hi Ray. Great work. I'm Laura's marketing department (brother) ha ha. we find your logo to be very professional and clean. We like the fact that while it is kid friendly, it still suites teens quite well. You are certainly one of the few front runners and we appreciate the additional work you have performed. If I can express a couple concerns from a marketing standpoint that you can address, we will be in good shape. The grey background with the spotlight really looks cool, but is not always practical. What will this look like on plain white paper? Maybe it would need a bit of a shadow? Maybe not... I like the colors, but would like to see another option. gold tends to be hard to match in print. Can we see the TL in a "zen like" green and and the YA is something complementary? Have you thought about what this will look like in B&W/greyscale, knock out etc? Being a non-profit company, our budget for printing is small and we do a lot in B&W. Finally, we love the mask included, but would love to see it as a comedy (happy face) mask. Can you try to make it look more like the typical theater mask> Maybe the split half white half black but grey? Hope you understand what I mean. Anyhow, if we get to the final stages I can be a bit more specific if needed. Thanks again, this is really great!!
..uploaded #51 & #52, with a white background used, and also changed the colours to include the green, maybe the green is too light ?? I will work on the mask now and will upload again soon :)
This is great. I'm very comfortable with all of the changes you made. The mask is perfect and the whole logo looks great in B&W etc. Thanks for the work on this. Your listening skills are great! I think we will be deciding soon.
