Our Ideas & Additional Information
I have enclosed a mock-up of how our logo currently looks. We like the colours, but we want a more illustrative and sleek look.

The "Y" uses two knitting needles to form it's structure, and we think this works quite well, though looks a bit "cliparty" IMO. We would like the general style to remain the same, but possibly making it fit more with the rest of the logo. The yellow colour is good.

For the "ARNFINDER", we would like this illustrating as though it was written in actual yarn thread (https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=yarn&pws=0&biw=1662&bih=1004&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=pu2AVIWCIsGWavyNgPAO&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ).

Each letter needs to join to the other, and it needs to be readable yet handwritten in a fun way. The current colour we have used is fine.

The tail of the last "R" could possibly look good if it looped back underneath and ran into the end of the slogan underneath - "Find your nearest Yarn Stockist". This will remain in a standard black/dark grey font.

Thanks for the great entries so far, they're of a very high quality. Keep them coming!

What I would ideally like to see is the lines and letters of the word Yarnfinder (or just "arnfinder" if the Y is made from the knitting needles) looking like actual yarn thread eg:

So instead of smooth lines, the effect is like the above. I would like to see how this looks.

Thanks.

I've ranked the latest logos so you can see what I'm after now. Getting close.

What I'd like to see is the Y being formed by two knitting needles, similar to the example given. The "thread effect on the top two is excellent, so more along this style also.

Thanks.

Thanks to all the submissions so far. The top ranked designs are really good and just what we're looking for. We'll pick the winner tomorrow - so any further submissions should be close to the top 6 to stand a chance.
