is the Y in the pictoral suppose to be a golf tee and the green circle a golf ball?

Yes, exactly!

What is the nature of your agreement with Yamaha with regards the use of its brand? Yamaha is, presumably, happy to let you use the Yamaha name in your own company name. What about elements of its brand identity, the Yamaha wordmark and the tuning fork device?

#4 yes we have complete authority to use their logo (Tuning Fork) and name. I want to make sure everyone knows and this may be tough to do but we started out as a golf car distributor but since then we have taken on Rain Bird Irrigation for golf courses and Baroness Turf mowing equipment for golf courses. So we don't want to focus our logo strictly on golf cars only.

#2 your logo above the name is somewhat confusing to us and we aren't sure if it isn't too modern or technical for our image? It looks maybe too futuristic.

#15 like what you have going here so far, but can you do Yamaha in more of a block font like Yamaha uses and all upper case letters?

#23 it is close between you and #15 but same issue, can you do Yamaha in their block font and a little thicker, not much and maybe not exactly match Yamaha's boldness/thickness?

All, it seems as if everyone here is less interested in the golf ball look in our logo, personally I like it but the majority are not in favor of it, so maybe a little less golf ball art work in the designs
