Logo Designer
Hello,

Here are some ideas, at the entries #13 , #14 , #15 , #20 and #21 we are looking for the combination of the "Y" initial and the heart.

Thanks,

Corvin

Thank you, we definitely like your designs. We especially like the design in #7 but would like to see the word "Program" slightly less emphasized as it is in #20 and #21 (though perhaps not with "Yale" quite as large as it is in these 2 or as blocky as in #21)

#48 , #49 , #50 Logos with official Yale blue and Yale gray (a secondary color for use with Yale Blue). The typeface is only similar to the Yale typeface, because: "The Yale typeface is available to Yale employees, students, and authorized contractors for use in Yale publications and communications" (more: http://www.yale.edu/universityprinter/typeface/download.html)

Thank you,

Thank you, we really like these, especially #48. We would like to see "Yale" in blue. This though would have the blue "Yale" next to the blue side of the heart. Could you flip the colors on the figure so that it is blue on the left and red on the right, then have "Yale" in blue and "Program" in red, keeping these same fonts. Also, if not too much trouble, could you do one version where the "Of Applied Translational Research" is the same as it currently is in figure #48 and one where it is the color that it is in #7, which appears either darker blue or black? Thank you!

Until we have time nothing is trouble. New logos: #51 , #52 , #53

"Yale" and "PROGRAM" are in line (arranged), but "Yale" is still a bigger font size.

Tnank you!

Thank you, these look very good, especially #52. We still however would like to tinker a bit. We would like to see what it looks like with the lettering being as tall as the figure, this might make the smaller font easier to read when printed. Could you try this with 2 lines, as there are now, and also with 3 line of text, "Yale" on top, "Program of Applied" in the middle and "Translational Research" on the bottom? The Yale should always be blue but perhaps with that 3 level one we could try both other lines blue, middle red bottom blue and middle blue bottom red? Thank you!

Hello, sorry for the delay, I couldn't open this website for five hours, to send you these new versions.

#68 , #69 , #70

Okay, in this case I think we must use a separation line to keeping the harmony between the lettering and the figure. I feel the logo #52 is a well-balanced version, whatever I'm waiting for your new reflections and comments! Meanwhile still working on another versions of "Yale" logo.

Thank you,

Corvin

Entire #72 nothing special, only the separation line is a bit stronger.

Thank you!

Hello Corvin. We have selected you as the winning designer for our contest. We were hoping though that before our period is up we could see a few of your designs with some slight changes. For #53, could you make the bottom line red to match the word "Program" as well as making the font for the bottom line slightly larger. For #70, could you make the "Yale" slightly smaller, the bottom 2 lines both red and the same size font and make that font slightly larger than "Program of Applied" currently is. Finally, for #77 (we like this new one a lot), we would like the bottom line changed to red. We really like the arrows in the figure, it gives a good impression of translational research. We would like to see something slightly different than the blue and red v's that are there now. Could you make these v's wider at the tops and kind of tapering to the bottom point. Could you also try to incorporate the heart/kidney figure from #70 or something similar in place of the v's? Thank you very much for all of your excellent work.

Thank you! I think we are leaning towards #80 though I like 81 and 82 very much as well. Could you once more make the "Yale" one font size smaller and the rest of the writing 1 size bigger for #80? Thank you.

Hello, looks great. One final edit to #83 and we should be done. Could we see it with the blue part of the hart slightly darker blue so that approximates the blue of "Yale"? Thank you.
