Hey David - Thanks for the message.
What I want to portray for your project goes along the same lines of the bullfighting posters you mentioned in your brief. It is tradition to honor the bull even though it is about to be killed. So the posters always show the bull alive, just moments before the fight and eventual slaughter takes place. They are still dark and ominous, but that is communicated via the colors and the overall graphic imagery.
So the tradition of honoring the animal is one characteristic. The other is wholly commercial. I put myself as a patron of the establishment and how I would feel looking at imagery of pigs. I wanted something eye catching that told a story without being didactic. And the last was just a little cheeky and surreal - showing the pigs stacked. Sort of as a way of them saying - hey, we're special, go to the next guy....
As far as selecting multiple images, LogoTournament rules state that I cannot discuss with a client any work outside of the contest until the contest is finalized. A contest is finalized when the client approves the final files that will be uploaded. So while the contest is active, I (or any other designer) cannot negotiate any additional work. That's strictly against the rules here. What I can discuss is that it often happens that a client wants more than one of the designs I submit to their project. Most recently, for this contest (
https://logotournament.com/contests/wishmaker_house_bed_and_breakfast ) the client wanted three of my designs. They selected me as winner, finalized the contest, then we successfully negotiated for the other two designs. What I suggest you do is select your favorite design then after the contest, we can discuss any other design that you like.
Sorry about the lengthy message and I hope I've explained my self. If you have any questions, please let me know. Also, if you'd like to see any other changes, please let me know.
Thanks again,
Ignacio
