Wychmere Beach ClubLogo Design Contest

My aim was to depict refinement and relaxation in this mark. Simplicity and refinement go hand in hand as do minimalism and relaxation. I have two very different aesthetic approaches, I hope they are to you liking. I eagerly await you feedback.

Hi David,

i do like your approach and am one with minimalism. I especially love the abstract nature of the sailboat of #38 - like it's whispering in the wind...love the movement. The font however loses me ... feels too messy for a luxury locale...but again, love the boat!

#55 is probably too suggestive and specific though it is beautifully executed. Since we are are saying "beach club" I feel that the depiction is just a bit too obvious to be 'intersting'...but again, gorgeous. I just don't believe I can get it approved for the reasons stated. Love the fonts though, in this one and in #37 (i think they are they same?). The bar across the H prob isn't enough to hit me (in #37).

Thrilled to have a Jamaican weighing in...by the weigh, one of my clients is a Chef from Jamaica who is about to start his own Jamaican food truck in Boston. I hope you participate when that contest happens :)
