www.clear.md - look at the "c" in the logo...we're interested in doing something with the "C" - this icon will help users "connect"...C is for "connect". C is also for "clear". So, we like the idea of the icon being in the shape of a "C", but demonstrate that you're clicking on this icon to "connect" to something or somebody.

designers, keep in mind that this is NOT a logo, it's just an icon. The icon will be in many places on our site and will launch a "connection". There should be NO color in the icon. It should be grey scale. We are a health care information website. Please look at our very clean, clear brand image at our landing page www.clear.md. Keep it simple and powerful...not complex. Show that by clicking on this icon you will be able to "connect".

...another way to think about this icon is to think of a tile on an iPhone...the tile that takes you to an app. This icon will likely be used as the core visual for our iPhone app tile. Keep it simple...clear...clean.
