Remember, this logo is about a "Wild Hog Hunt"; not about the store/sponsor. It's needs to show fun, excitement, danger, and big money to the winner! It's in East Texas....land of the pines, pickup trucks, rednecks, simple living, and lots of fun lovin' people. It is in Texas...the Lone Star State.....the Republic! It's about long neck bottles of beer, country music, and hog huntin'! It's about the outdoors.....raisin' hell and havin' a good ol' time! And the winner of the hunt will take home thousands of dollars!!!!! The logo should be reminisent of the great time they had at the hunt and all the festivities (hog barbeque, wild hog cookoff, parade, etc).

Have some great entries now! Thanks for all the effort. Couple of things.....1) we want the logo to be repeatable...meaning the event will take place each year. So maybe the year on it is more important than the $10,000 as we're not sure the first prize will always be that amount. 2) the event is 10 days so want to try to reflect that somehow in the logo. That this is an event...a roundup....something that lasts longer than just one day. Love the depictions on the wild hog. Love using red/white/blue as those are Texas's colors. Love the use of pine trees to depict East Texas. Good work!
