The bike looks to much like a stationary bike you would see in a physical therapy office. I would like the bike to have a sportier look to it. More like a tri bike.
Naturally, I would be happy to make some updates for you. Just letting you know that only the top 5 ranked designers can submit changes in the next 3 days, so changing the rank to accommodate the need for a few revisions would be great.
Oh, I'm sorry. I just saw that. I ranked everything again this morning. I can comment when am at work through my iphone, but I haven't figured out how to drag things yet so I usually wait til I get home to do that. I am off work today to I will be checking all day, especially since this it the last day for the entries. Thank you.
I have spent the better part of the afternoon improving the design and finally came up with a dynamic symbol that can work on its own if needed. Actually, the design came through based on your thought that the previous bike looked rather stationary, which let me on a path to explore a more sportier type of logo as you put it.
Here is the result logos : #71 #74 #75 #76
I have included the two versions on an orange background, because I think they look rather bold and also to show that the design works nicely on a single color background as well as black & white. Additionally the design is versatile in its quality to work equally well in horizontal and vertical layout, which can prove an asset if you intend to use your logo on a various media (magazines, flyers, brochures, website, signage, etc.)
I have uploaded a couple of designs that use a dumbbell in the "AND" of "Fitness And Cycling". I have chosen that spot for the dumbbell, because that way the main name "Wright" retains greater readability.
Thank you, that looks great. I think the cycling bike needs to look a little sleeker. Is that a word? Do you know what I mean? Maybe with some Tri-bike bars on the front.
I was wondering what is the focus of your fitness and cycling studio. Do you market yourself with bodybuilding and cycling or is the studio more known for its cycling/spinning classes, since that is who Ms. Wright is, right?
I think that the logo needs to reflect that and emphasize on your strong areas instead of trying to portray everything. There is a book on the subject written by Al Ries called "The 22 Immutable Laws of Branding", you can check it if you like.
