Color Preferences
The only colors that I don't think will encourage the theme is pink and purple, so I would like to stay away from those. However, with that said, I really don't want to put too many limitations on this and I want to see what creative ideas people come up with.

One one hand, I think something that appears "metallic" might look good, but I'm not dedicated to that idea and would like to see logos that aren't constrained by a metallic or steel look.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
As stated above, I really don't want to limit a designer's ability to be creative and come up with something great. The things that are important to know is that this will be for a Mixed Martial Arts ("MMA") fighting organization, so we def. have an eye towards something that conveys strength, professionalism, and high quality entertainment.

Since the name is World Superfight, I can imagine a logo with a globe; however, if you can think of something else that will adequately represent our organization that does not include a globe, I would like to see it.

Ultimately, I would like to see how creative you can be without any limitations at all. Look forward to seeing the results!!!

For anyone looking at participating in this contest, I am providing specific feedback to each entry provided, which will hopefully show our thoughts as to what we like and what we don't like for a specific logo.

Hopefully this will guide you in your design of our perfect logo!!!

To also assist.... It seems that the "block style" letters are the easiest way to convey "strength" in a name, and they aren't bad, but you don't need to be married to using block letters either. Something along the lines of a "rage italic" might be good to see as well.

One thing that I am seeing a lot of are very symmeterical designs....which they are looking great, but I am curious how some logos would look (such as submission #14 or #19) if it were to be shaken up a bit, and the perfect circle around the logo appeared a bit "rougher" or not as symmetrical.

Other than that....I am loving the submissions and look forward to seeing more. Thank you everyone for your very creative ideas thus far.

Wow.....I have to say that I am really impressed with the submissions this far. Thi is great and I know we're going to have a hard time making a decision here.

One comment that might save some people some time. We are NOT a boxing organization. We are a Mixed Martial Arts fighting organication. What that means in terms of logos is that boxing uses boxing gloves, and MMA uses lighter, fingerless gloves. As you can tell from some of the logos that I have commented on that have now incorporated MMA style gloves, there is a significant difference between the two.

Anyway, please keep this submissions coming and I will continue to try to comment on every one, especially the ones that we really like and see if we can fine tune them. Once again, thank you for all of your efforts!!!

Please note that it is "World Superfight" NOT "World Superfights"

There is NO "S" at the end of "Superfight."

Also.....legibility of the entire logo is of the utmost importance, as this logo may be printed on some smaller items, so it all needs to be readable.

Thank you again for all of your hard work and submissions. Look forward to seeing many more.

There are a few marks that I have moved to the "not interested" section of the contest, and I would like to explain why, as there are several reasons:

1. Technical inaccuracy - If there is any logo that is technically inaccurate as to the sport of Mixed Martial Arts, the logo has been moved to the "not interested" section. My thought is that credibility is everything, and if we were to select a logo that subjects us to any criticism, our credibility in the industry could potentially be damaged.

2. Cartoon figures - In the same vein as the technical inaccuracies, we are unable to use any logo with a "cartoonish" type fighter who appears "punch drunk." Once again, we have one shot to establish credibility, and using a cartoonish, goofy looking figurine will get us destroyed in the MMA industry.

Once again, thank you for all of the submissions. We look forward to seeing any and all new submissions.
