I like entry #16 the best because he is spraying onto the wood and that concept is cool. I would like to see more life and color in the bee himself. I like the mask, but it could be another color than the bee(my personal mask is blue on the face shield with white covered filters. Thanks!
Also, I like the text at the bottom of entry #7 the best. How it is larger at both ends. I would like to have harder black lines making things stand out more if possible!
Thanks for the feedback. I made some updates in #47 . I know the gun I used isn't gravity fed , but I was having trouble making everything fit nicely on the wood. Anyway, let me know if I'm moving in the right direction. Thanks! -Brian
Yeah buddy, definitely the right direction! Your early designs were a couple of my buddies favorites. See your work gives me a great idea, tell me what you think... What about making the wood bigger and look like a coin with "Wooden Bee" and "Custom Finishes" sort of arching on the top and bottoms around the coin?! So the bee and the tools would be the picture on the coin in leu of the beaver, elk or polar bear. Ya know? Just make it an emblem kind of thing. That way I think you could better see more of the wood.
Lastly if we could focus and bolder more defined lines, so at a distance the design still shines through.
I like the coin idea a lot and will work on making the the parts of the bee a bit more bold/defined. I have a couple more ideas brewing also. Stay tuned!
