Without WallsLogo Design Contest

Hi Naura,
I like the concept however i think it needs some refinement, perhaps having some type of people in the logo or in the grass, like figures or something? also the W is a tad bit overwhelming, and I do not like the capital HO in the without. Maybe a different font for the W?

Also i would love to see some ideas other than the W as a logo...

Hi Naura, i do not think the house one will work, it is too similar to my friends logo which i posted to help inspire you all. perhaps some other type of object that conveys community? buildings? parks? fields?

I prefered the idea behind your first logos (#13&14) maybe something inbetween those and the new ones (37&38)

Thanks! #42 and 43 are great, it is nice to see something other than a W as the symbol :)
I wonder if there are ways to use the idea of #42 and make the symbol something smaller? something that is not as large and over powering compared to the text.

Just wondering if it could be enclosed into a circular symbol? maybe square? or maybe some other non-linear shape?

Also i really like the symbol you used for the "breakthrough" logo you made that won first place. not sure if that can help you as well :)

53 and 54 are great!! I love the idea, the only thing I would say should be tweaked is the W of without, I think it is a little too bubbly, but I love the way the line of the W extends to the left as three lines! :)
This could potentially become the ultimate logo for us!
Can't wait to see the next step in the design process :)

i really like #63 i just dont like the Vs under the symbol, the one on the right is like a bubble and looks like a V, can you make the right most of the 3 look like a W?

I wonder if it would look better if under the symbol of the trees, bench etc.. if there was just the W instead of the V with two lines to the left, I think that would be a stronger logo with more brand recognition since it would be an obvious W and not a V.
Thoughts?

Could i please see the following edits:
1. #42 with the image maybe shrunken down and moved to the left of the words.
2. Also perhaps after shrinking it down, it could be wrapped into a circle much like #69 but without the V or W letters, almost like a globe (or earth) covered with those images (which are awesome and I love the color scheme).

This would be great since i really love the image i just think it is too big and would be difficult for print and web use, but i really love it.

I think these could be the winners! :)

Some more comments for #69.

Can you remove one of the bars on the left so it is only a W under the symbol

Make the people and the W orange, then the bench, tree and building light blue, and the globe, dark blue

Also please remove the leaf above the W of "Without"

Thank you for the updates, I think the colors may be a bit too strong, maybe it is the contrast of the dark blue vs orange? I was looking back to #54 and really like the way the text is integrated into the W, again i have the same comments as before regarding the W perhaps you can make that W look more like the W in #69 (minus the left most line) and i would make it closer to the colors in #42.
#42 is still visually my favorite regarding the colors i really like those hues of gray and blue and the little bit of pop with the orange.
Sorry about all the back and forth, but as I am about to choose the best designer (and i am seriously considering it be you, I want to see if we can get this to be almost complete :)

on #84 could you just remove the third (left most line) next to the W of the symbol. and leave the rest like it is (please dont connect the lines in the W)

Does this make sense, sorry it is hard to describe these small changes in writing.

Couple questions for changes to them:
First of all i think i prefer #90.
Can you make #90 so that the Walls is moved a litte bit to the left more?
Also perhaps it would be better if the W and the a are not touching?

I am pretty sure this is basically the final product we are looking for, would it be possible to work with you on getting several versions for different colors and perhaps getting a few of your designs (ie not only the final product, since i really like #42 for print or Tshirt options)

Oh no, i actually meant to just move it over slightly i like the way the circle wraps around the W :)

Can you basically make #90 with the W and a not touching (like you did in 92 and 93) but use the font from #91 for "Without"?

Also can you make sure that the Without and the bench are the same color orange? (i am not sure if they are or not...)

Could you show me an example of #94 with darker colors (maybe the dark blue or black?) that would look good on a background that is light blue?

After talking to my boss i think we will need to go with something like #88 for the final logo since the other ones they say emphasize the word Walls too much however i love the design and colors in #94 & #98.

I would love to finish the tournament today and make you the winner.

Before i do that i wonder if you could make the changes as i just mentioned but also maybe show me what #94 looks like with "Without Walls" coming from the logo (and not just Walls as it is now) This might be better as it would emphasize the whole name and not just "Walls"

Could you make it so the Without is not touching the Symbol in the middle? That way i can use the symbol by itself as a stand alone as well.

Could u also make me #100 using the colors from #98.

So basically what I would like for the final product for use on our site would be #100 with the update i just mentioned above, and a dark version, and also could you include #42 in the final product (i would like to use that as a watermark on our website.
