Wiregrass NetworksLogo Design Contest

I made this concept quite literal to the name "Wiregrass". :) Feedback appreciated!

#1 - I really do this like. Thanks for the thought into this Raspy - Neat idea with the actual "Wiregrass"! Although this is just the first entry I've seen your stuff and think you are Very Very talented and deserve more credit for you other entries. So much so that I would Really appreciate seeing other ideas of yours as well as any minor modifications to the current. Thanks!

I will absolutely come up with more ideas for you - this was just the first thing I thought of when I saw your contest and I wanted to get it submitted! :)

I can play around with this concept and come up with totally new ones. You still have a little while for this contest, but I'll be with you the whole way. :)

Looking at this some more I think this "Wiregrass" Idea is really great. I like the font in the #1 but the font in #3 is not bad either. Can we try the "Wiregrass" off to the left side? I think the Boxed Wiregrass idea would look good off to the side of the same #3 font. I think I'd like to rank after I see that.

Great #14 - I know this will sound picky, but is the size something that we can adjust? I'm liking this. Can we make it a bit larger later? Thanks for the SUPER FAST response!

#14 - Since you have the same thing but larger, what should I do with this? If I mark not interested does that reflect negatively towards you or not? What about the withdraw I've seen some designers do? Love my new number #15 - Other feedback for you personally: It was a Very good idea to shoot this to me that design at the very start. I've been looking at this the most and has that growing on me effect from seeing it a lot. Still open to ideas though! Thanks Man

It doesn't matter what happens with the other entry really. If you're not interested, I can withdraw it or you can mark it not interested. Either way is fine and it doesn't impact me negatively at all. :)

Ok, good to know. I did see that all ranked entries will award the designer @ least one 1, I believe each so I will be sure to rank those in the end to give you that extra little credit for working with me a good bit.

I'm liking that new green one as well. The slant that allows for the shadow is slick. I personally have always like blue better and as you know, the orange is very nice.

If you want to hear be real picky: I like the grass cables 3 and 5 best out of the #1 grass :) Ya, that sounds picky to me even.

The new box is nice and so is the #15 & #1

The blue is looking great. Between grass design with the cables\cords I like the original 5 together (IED,VGA,CAT5,DVI,USB) - Can you try with the new box design and color and or original color? anytime is fine.

Any way to add some blue\orange combo to any of these? You see I have some blue ganging up to the top recently. Really liking that combo as well.

#145 #146 are sure slick

I like them, I've showed some others and they were having a hard time seeing that it is a "W" - Not sure if that matters so much though. Thanks!

For #146 - If there was actually a White "W" with a shadow, maybe we could see the "W" more?

User "Wiregrass Networks" font of #1
Then a minor mod on the G so to not confuse with a C for some people

For variation of this

Try Bolder "networks" with white outline and shadow deal

For #200 - Can we leave the "Wiregrass" as it is like in #197 but make the "NETWORKS" a tad bolder and with the white and shadow thing.

When you have some time can you make some variations of the icon?

Mainly with colors just wanted to see if we can get some blue in there and Maybe some gray as well. I think the white grass is still great and would like to leave that.

I think this is really great, just Some other ideas just to try:

Gloss the whole icon?
Extend shadow a bit?
Tad thinner border?

Reminds me of a nice iPhone app custom button ;)

Can you shoot me that #197 in blue?

I think I still like #197 the best - Can you try just a tad more shadow but not as much as #243 & Can you try gloss the icon as a whole, with the board as well?

I still kind of wish there was another way to get some blue in there... any more ideas on that?
