A very interesting concept! Of course, something I haven't told everyone is that we don't taste any wine on our program (even though we use a wine glass with headphones as our icon right now).
I like the typeface, thought the color of the type is a bit too brown (I suppose it has too much of a yellow cast, and not enough blue). The pulses emanating from the wine glasses are reminiscent of the RSS feed icon, and might represent the sound of two wine glasses being tapped together in a toast.
I would almost go with a silhouette of the wineglasses, or a silhouette with the glass shape outlined instead of fully black.
Overall, it's an interesting concept (as I said), though I wouldn't say it's a top 3 contender right now, but keep at it!
