Just some thoughts based on current entries:

We like the skyline, important that Chicago skyline is included.
We also like the lacrosse player included - but now that we see it, could be distracting....maybe just some lacrosse elements, stick (or crossed sticks), maybe a goal? Not sure where to go with it. The players are fine - just may be too much

It is a summer lacrosse tournament outside Chicago. With the logo we are trying to sell/show - Lacrosse, Chicago and excitement.

I think the current logos do that -
