We really like the W you are playing with -- but true of both (more the green one than the blue) -- it becomes a little suggestive of a garden snake which is not so wonderful of an association for us. Would you mind tweaking with it a little where that might be less of the case? I think the reason the blue one is not as suggestive of that is that it extends a little longer ... I wondering if something in between those might work. what we like so much about your designs is that we are left with an iconic "W" -- that will work well as a stand alone more on the outside spine of a book (part of what we do is book publishing, and a lot of the other logo don't provide us with a stand alone mark that can be readily associated with "Windblown" as a brand -- yours does better in that regard. We'd love to see you try a few more variations on that. Very nice work.
Thanks for the new submission -- I'm not sure I like the new font quite as well, but let me sit with it for a bit? I will our staff to weigh on it. Just wanted to say we appreciated your tweaking it a bit.
You made it into our top 5 -- #126 and #127 are probably the ones we like the most at this point -- but the green color ends up for too many people to suggest a garden snake. The W in 208, 215, 216 -- lessons the snake feel, but still doesn't quite do it for us... Maybe you could try a different color -- a gold? and perhaps there is an intertwining of 2 things that could work or remove the sense of a snake?
There is interest to us in the "W" shape -- we are wanting to see something that suggests wind/movement -- but we're not wanting to think of a snake or just some ribbon in the wind. The font in those 2 is attractive to us -- maybe try a couple of colors ??
