I decided to create the logo according to your guidelines - and created the 3D sphere - with a blue triangle... and I hope that this was along the lines of what you were looking for?
I also kept the font quite modern and simple... and not too feminine as requested. I also encouraged a more predominant blue to encourage the "secure" feeling.
In This one, I decided to move a bit away from the 3D sphere - and wanted to create the illusion of a sphere... Just a note - if you like the concept... I can also clean up the way that the sphere joins with the font.
I like the interpretations. Entry #1 - I like the sphere... is it possible to use a deeper red? The tone comes off a bit orange/brown and in combination with the triangle (by the way, I like the triangle style for the most part) almost looks like a fruit (orange) at first glance ;) I realize that if you deepen the sphere tones, you may have to play with the font colour/placement. Also, with the 3D effect on the sphere - can you make it appear more liquidy? Could the triangle (if reduced in size) be completely enclosed in the sphere?
Entry #2 I like the font style/colour even though the blue in that one does not evoke the same "trust/secure" feeling as does Entry #1. I don't know if I am into the "arc" look for the sphere though. I will be going over these again with my assistant later today... get more input at this end! Thanks for your submissions! Hope to see more. Please keep in mind that I am open to anything creative right now... the sphere just seems to denote a trigger point to me. William Huhn.
Hi Emma If possible, could you try a different style of triangle. The one you have created is actually quite good, as it denotes trigger points as compared to just one trigger point. I like the reference :) I was thinking of something with tighter, more pronounced curves. Just a thought. Thank-you! William
Have played with the Red - looking much less like a orange now ;) I'm not quite sure what you mean by the triangle though... Are you wanting something more "triangle" like? Let me give it a little think...
The colour on #3 is better. A little heavy though. I would still like to see some of that liquidity I mentioned, to give it that 3D appearance. I also would like the lettering to be as visible as possible (inside the sphere). The triangle is still problematic. Hmm... we may have to re-think that one ;) Let me get back to you later on that! As I mentioned, we can abandon the whole triangle idea if need be.
Also, I would like to add "Trigger Point Bodywork" to the product. Same style is OK, but a smaller font.
Ah... I think I know what you mean regarding the liquidity (and 3D-ness)... I will look at how we can get the Lettering to stand out a bit more. Look forward to more pointers regarding the triangle Will add "Trigger Point Bodywork" underneath Regards Emma
Hey Emma Looking forward to seeing more of your ideas :) Some of my clients have indicated that they like your #2 entry. Perhaps we should look in that direction? My partner is eager to see entries that are not spheres. I like them, but the "giant" entries have caught our eye as well. Thanks! William
Going to have a look at it tonight (my tonight) - and will hopefully send you something soon... I love that you're giving us feedback to get closer to what you like... but I'd like to suggest that you keep the feedback to everyone a bit more general... found this in the rules (when looking for something for another client) and thought it might help if I let you know upfront rather ;) Emma
"What is required of LogoTourmanet clients: We require that you do not ask one designer to use elements or concepts from another Designer. The general rule is that, if a Designer was the first to submit the idea, they essentially own that concept or idea for the remainder of the contest. Requests or ideas you have put in your contest Brief are fair game and open to everyone. Concepts that are considered obvious will also be fair game, for example: a dog & cat for a pet hospital, shopping bag for an e-commerce company, a tooth for a dentist, initials for a lawyer, etc."
Here is the amendment according to last night's specs... I'll also look at expanding on #2 - unless you have a different direction that you'd like me to work in?
I like #25 The red and blue look great in those proportions and the shadowing is just enough. It almost appears that the sphere is "resting" in the blue background. Could you do some variations with the blue graphic on this Emma? Perhaps straighter lines to see how that affects the feel? I wonder what a horizontal thin blue band encircling the sphere... one or two wrap arounds would look like? Hmmm... although I still like the shadowing effect :) I'm not trying to be the artist ;) Just wondering out loud. Nice work so far. William
In terms of the "blue horizontal like encircling the sphere" - do you mean similar to what yayuk is doing? See... the thing is - if we start doing stuff similar to each other - this will end up in Logo court...
Yeah, I was just looking at that, and realize that my suggestion may seem to encroach on yayuk's design. Don't want to initiate any conflicts here ;o) My apologies for that.
How about using the blue graphic in #25 but narrowing it horizontally and creating more of a "wave" look... kind of like a flag in the wind? Not flapping in the wind... just a gentle one or two waves. Retain some shadowing perhaps? I do like the "Trigger Point Bodywork" over the blue like you have done. Looks sharp :)
You don't have to do the wave thing... I'm just trying to think of what else we can do with that great blue effect.
Thanks Emma. We really appreciate the work you contributed :) Hey, congrats on your gold cup (nice way to start!)... we're sure there will be many more as you keep on creating your fine work! Your #20 received many complements from our clients as well. Kindest regards William
