Thanks Miamiman - very elegant!

- Possibly a little too elegant... as we sell things about sooty fires and outdoor muddy adventures.
- The font is fun and communicates a strong image, though I would have concerns about readability at small sizes
- I like the shadng in the background, which emphasizes the logo when against the maroon of the site.

I am very drawn to designs involving graphics of cooking, and rinvite you to consider variants including such a graphic,

Thanks.

This is a really strong logo now.

Image is beautiful. See other general comments re making a but more stovey and less open fires, as it's a bit cauldrony over fire at the moment. I realise the images of full stoves are not working as well, so maybe just something that implies enclosed fire below - maybe some lines on left and right of the fire... supporting the pot?

Please see comments before re elegance of font - something a touch more earthy & rough?

How would this reproduce against a wite background?

Something less cblocky for the strapline?

A version with the pot on the left, to see how this looks?

Would be interested to see how the logo all looked lightened up, and with a natural green for text.

Thanks, really cool logo. Strong contender.

PS - the graphic, despite what I said above, should become simpler if anything, not more complicated. This may already pose small-reproduction issues. J

Hi - interesting new take on this. Thanks. This is a high contender, but please take note of feedback above re font. Consistent feeling among our team that this font is not right - too hippy/ curly and elegant. Needs to be rougher.

See also graphics here for ideas on how to hint at a stove rather than open fire. http://picasaweb.google.com/j.r.rouse/Logo?authkey=Gv1sRgCPfelMGQyOXtggE#.

Frame is really interesting. Wonder if it could look good in green, like a vine?

Thanks, j

Thanks.

Very nice changes, but I advise to please follow feedback om font to other designers etc as we have discounted this font elswhere. Something less 'survival'; more freindly, fun, modern, yet informal and rough.

How about a version with a different font, in white, no drop shadow. Also (as above) surround in green with an oak leaf (a bit vineyardy with a vine leaf).

Graphic. I think a white, textured pot may work better with the contents dark, rather than the other way round (as at present - i.e. black pot).

See also notes & feedback wrt to looking like a stove.

STrapline lower case other than first word please.

Thanks! Jonathan
