Hi Design lab - thanks for this. Verysmart indeed, and I love the concept.
- the adoption of the o as a frying pan is a great concept and beatutifully done, though not quite right in its present form. It's a bit q-like, and I don't think says strongly enough cooking on fire. Maybe an o as a pot would work better? I like the flames leaping up behind. It's really smart. - Font strikes a great balance of clarity, informality, rustic. - I'm liking the inclusion of the strapline which is readable even small. I may consider including the web address instead here.
Really smart, thanks. - A great improvement. We still like the incoorporation of graohic into the text. - The font, nearly there, but a touch too 'friendly' ... it reminded us a bit of flint stones, and while the techs we are selling are very basic, we want to project rough and outdoory - We'd welcome further ideas along the lines of the general contest comment on rocket stoves as our headline product. The pot on the fire alone is a strong image, but it would be fantastic to nod at our more efficient stoves. - Also interested to see how logos looked with some kind of framing
Hi - again, liking these changes, but font still a bit too friendly (as per previous 2 comments). We'd love to see this with some new fonts - slightly less rounded, a bit rougher, but still interesting. This is a very strong contender. Jonathan
I just wanted to underline how keen we - and friends - are on this design.
I think font in white works better, but would still be good to see some green incorporated somewhere
Strapline font now more funky, but readability has sufferred.
Graphic - still keen on hinting at a contained-fire stove. See http://picasaweb.google.com/j.r.rouse/Logo?authkey=Gv1sRgCPfelMGQyOXtggE# for some ideas of what I mean by this. Would also be good to have some flames licking round front/ sides of pot if possible - without making it look fussy.
