Top Three Things to Communicate
#1 - Elegance
#2 - Style
#3 - Exclusive
Our Target Audience:
Educated, affluent brides between the ages of 20-late 30's. Above average incomes, modern and attractive. To a lesser extent males of the same age, "Decision Makers", (Groom)
Color Preferences
I would like to see something that will first and foremost look good with our new website which can be seen here:
wildorchidfilms.com, right now it is just a skeleton site.
Colors that generally appeal to women but not to feminine. I think blue would work well but I am open to other colors.
A very subtle film reference would be ok but I want to stay away from any "Gear" if at all possible i.e. cameras, mixers, etc...
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
If you take a look at the bride on the front page of our website you can get a good idea of the client we are trying to attract.

Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
As far as number #1 and #2 go I think the font is a bit too over the top, also this logo will go at the beginning of our films, usually on a black background so the logo should be appealing on a dark or light background.
#3 is nice, I like the graphic element but is that an Orchid?
Hey guys, I really like the color of the text in #10. I am also a big fan of the color of the text in number 8. I don't necessary want an image of an orchid in the logo although I am not counting it out.
If there is an image of a flower, I would like it to be a bit more abstract. If you all could come up with some concepts that don't include a flower I would love to see them, keep in mind though I am open to anything.
I would like to stay away from purple , I know it is a popular color for orchids but I think blue or even teal might compliment our image better. I don't want to go too dark so it will translate well to business cards/letterheads.
Hey everybody, it is very early in the contest but I wanted to give you some insight as to why #33 by dotwoman is is the number one spot. The image has nice contrast that would work well on a dark or light background, the portion with the Orchid is large and I think it would be easily recognizable which as we all know is what a good logo is all about. The font is not too thin and not too fat.
I am excited to see what you guys come up with next.
#36 is not exactly the look we are going for, but I ranked it number 3 because he is thinking outside the box. I like the oval shape and the concept in general is something out of the ordinary.
