Hello :) Thanks for your time & consideration

Thanks Josh! We really like this one. We don't have any notes right now, we are still considering how it would work with all the different ways we would use it. But it's pretty safe to say this design will go onto the next phase.

Great! I still have some more ideas for development, too. Ive had my eye on the contest but was runnning short on time last week. In your opinion, what are the most frequently used ways that the logo will be used? Will it be mostly bulk bags, or will it also be used in single serve situations (for instance, cups, insulators, etc.)

I'm a huge coffee fan myself. I used to roast green beans quite a bit...now I buy mostly from my local roaster (my wife could only take so many times of the kitchen being filled with coffee bean smoke - hahaha)

Thanks

Hi Josh,
The most frequently used ways the logo will be used are 12 oz retail bags, 2 lb wholesale bags, website, and swag (t-shirts, stickers, travel mugs, etc).

Ventilation is KEY to home roasting! Totally get what your wife is talking about.

Thanks again,

Thanks Jenee
haha - yeah - it quickly became an outdoor activity :) I rigged up my own roaster for the grill with a rotisserie motor at one point, but it wasn't as even as the air popper.

Hi Jenee :) So - I was trying to push the exotic / wild aspect of coffee (I think a lot of people take for granted that they can buy it so easily and forget that it's an international commodity). That got me to thinking about travel, import/export, etc. With that - and the possibility of give-away stickers & shirts - in mind, I added this sort of travel tag / stamp look to the logo. I think the frames it for easy use and color customization. I also thought it'd work well in the framed format for window clings if you gave them to restaurants that carry your product.

I don't know if you guys are specializing in one region or from several, but I was thinking you could also possibly use the different colors as "coding" for differing regions - green for South American, blue for Pacific Island, yellow for African Coast, etc. Color coded with generic pamphlets about the region aspects and some travel-type pictures might be good B2B sales materials.

If there are any variations / revisions that you'd like to see, please don't hesitate to let me know :)

Thanks

Hi Josh,

I like the stamp and different colors idea. We will be selling coffees from various regions, so this is a possibility for sure.

Can you show us what #40 looks like with "Wild" and "Gift" spaced out the same please? A person in this trio of decision makers is asking to see what it looks like with the "T" touching the edge like the "D" does.

We would greatly appreciate it!

#76 - Absolutely :) Not a problem at all.

thanks :)

Hi Josh,

If we end up going with your original design (#40 or #76), is there going to be a way for us to "have" the stamp design too? Asking because we would obviously be using them for different purposes and I'm not really sure how this works from that perspective.

Thanks,
Jenee

I don't think that'd be a problem. Actually - if you picked a stamp design, I could just save a version without the stamp frame - which would essentially leave the original logo. I can also supply different color versions (it's part of the contract anyway - a lot of people don't realize that they can have color variations, too) Once the contest has been completed, I can email color variations. I always send a few extra file formats as well as a B&W version - I can attach some color variations, too.

Any other questions, just let me know :)

thanks

Hi Josh,

So we like the font the original way, the "T" not touching the sides. Can you change #76 to be like that please?

I think we slightly prefer #40 over #76, but we'll see after the font change. I just want to make sure I understand, if we go with #40, we cannot get the stamp design with the dots, correct? I do think the dots are necessary for the stamp version.

Thanks,
Jenee

Oh no - I can make either work with the stamp frame. With or without the dots.

Here's with the dots and without the dots, but adding the frame. :)

So, we could select #40 the way it is and still get #69, #70 (and maybe a couple of more colors)?

Sorry for being so specific /confused, we're just trying to weigh options so we know exactly what to choose.

Sorry - I think I made everything much more complicated than necessary :) Additional color variations aren't a problem either. I'll make sure you get the color variations you want.

Thanks for sending #81 without the dots, I think I like that version. I'm waiting to hear from my partner and I'll let you know.

Hi again,

Okay, we like it without the dots. Just so I know, if we go with #81, we could essentially have #40 as well because it's the same design without the border and different colors. Right?

Thanks again!

Yes - precisely. Again - sorry if I've made you paranoid. I just didn't want to imply anything that wasn't on the "up & up". #81 - minus the green background / white flowers becomes #40. I'm not too particular (and I don't think anyone else would mind either) regarding minor tweaks / revisions. Once the contest is complete, you can give me a list of colors that you'd want and I'll save them out as individual logos. The art is set up so that's it's very easy / fast to do.

thanks :)

Can we see #81 with the same coloring as #40? To see what the stamp version looks like in that color. Please and thank you!

Sure thing - it's really just the frame. The background color (the cream color) is showing through where the flower is white in #81. I can change that so it's cream, instead of white, if you prefer it, though.

#83 Is just show the "no stamp" version for reference :)

Thanks! This gives us a good idea of how it can look in other colors.

You're welcome :) We can always explore more colors down the road, too. Greens and blues can go a few different ways if you wanted to stretch the palette. (For instance a green shifting blue versus a green shifting yellow)
