Our Ideas & Additional Information
We are an artisanal Whiskey distilling company. We small batch distill whiskey from limestone filtered water of the Widow Jane natural cement mine. Limestone from this mine was the natural hydraulic cement that was used to build the Brooklyn Bridge, the empire state building, the statue of liberty, the Washington monument, etc... if you google image search Rosendale cement you will see a barrel logo from the 1800's. we have in mind a simple stencil-able design of the brooklyn bridge as in the original but with the following writing curved around:

Widow Jane Distilling Co. (curved)
(Bridge graphic)
Small Batch Whiskey (straight under bridge)
Brooklyn - Rosendale, NY (curved)

If there is space the emblem can perhaps mention natural Limestone water.

I was not able to upload images for some reason, but I can email if you contact me.

Font for lettering should be a stencil font like what is normally used on whiskey barrels.

Discussion

#7 through #10

Thank you for your submission, however we are looking for something that resembles the original rosendale cement emblem. The Brooklyn bridge graphic should closely relate, meaning the same sort of side view, with perhaps only changes to make it suitable to be stenciled.

# 4 through #6

Please reread what we are asking for.

# 12 through #15

Thank you for your submission. These are going in the direction we want but please note the emblem needs to be a stencil. the fonts need to be stencil fonts (no drop outs) and the bridge design needs to be created to be a stencil-able design.

#40 I really like this emblem, but it must be capable of being stencil cut (not silk screened). Meaning a paper stencil must be able to be cut out of the design and then spray painted through. Can you simplify the bridge into a stencil-able design. thank you

TO ALL DESIGNERS:

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ENTRIES. BUT PLEASE UNDERSTAND THE FINAL DESIGN MUST BE A STENCIL.

MEANING A PAPER CUTOUT THAT CAN BE SPRAY PAINTED THROUGH. THESE WILL BE THE ONLY DESIGNS CONSIDERED.

THANK YOU.

I think this concept of a stencil is being lost on some designers.

DO NOT SUBMIT designs that are not stencils. fonts must be a stencil font and any graphic must be a cut out stencil design.

thank you.

Dear CH, during this stage of your contest only the top 5 ranked designers will be able to submit changes. If you wish to see revisions & variations you'll need to rank at least 5 different designers.

Kind Regards
