Hi Jivin, thank you for your post. I'm not connecting with the 3 orbiting blue circles. I like the concentric circle shading and the white light in the middle. The emphasis should be Whole Media, Concepts should be the only word separated. Can you spice it up a bit?
No problem, it's an interesting name.. all my ideas are original and come from the brand names themselves and lend to the function of the company.. In this concept I was inspired by the circle to make the company name work as the logo (or jewel) the circle represents something eye catching for starters, the letter O is round and the space draws the eye. Secondly the orbiting circles are different parts of the media and the main circle being the overall concept. But it's bacically just an image that lends itself to the brand name becoming the actual whole logo. Anyway, since you did not catch on straight away which is usually always the case with logos, I still don't get the Nike logo tick.. What does it have to do with just do it? I'll see what else I can come up with that is more obvious with less depth and originality. http://www.google.com.au/search?q=wm+logos&hl=en&prmd=imvnsfd&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=DrrST86FMqyQiQeJu93_Ag&ved=0CFgQsAQ&biw=1680&bih=896
Thanks for your reply. I think I may have not fully explained myself in my very first comment. Depth and originality is very much what I would prefer. I would hate to stifle your thought of originality by trying to ask you to come up with a W and M concept. That's what everyone else is submitting. And don't let the 50th ranking lead you to believe that I don't like it. It's ranked 50th there because I didn't want to confuse future artists that it was ok to use Whole separately from Media. It is imperative that those 2 words stay together. Otherwise, I would have ranked it much higher. I would rather you work off enhancing that concept than your other 2 submissions. Thank you very much for your feedback as well. It certainly helps with communication.
Hi, ok awesome, here are a few variations based on the #5 initial concept... the typeface went from the traditional newsprint education conservative to the technology future style font, I like how it works on the more simple designs without all the 3D glass bubble effects jazz with it. Lends well to the creative industries while still has a contemporary feel to it.
I'm going to put some of your logos in the "do not use" column. PLEASE do not be offended. My entries are getting too large to sort through and I have to manage the process. I will keep the ones I like and you are so easy to work with. Thank you for your time and effort. You clearly get what I'm trying to do.
