What We Do
We edit original non fiction television shows for HD broadcast (think Discovery Channel, TLC, "Cribs") and corporate video (think GE, Under Armour, Monster.com).
Industry
Color Preferences
I would like to see black, white, beige and/or earthy tones. Whiteroom is an expression used in skiing deep snow so I would like to keep it outdoors feeling without it being about the outdoors (if that makes any sense). Soulful maybe.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
I was feeling maybe using the "W" "R" and "P" stylized in some way on their own and the words "Whiteroom Post" to be an additional tagline for places I need to explain what we are. I do not want "Production" to be part of the logo even though we are a post production house.
I was also toying with the idea of playing off "whiteroom" and making it like a padded cell like you would find in a mental hospital. I am not 100% sold on this idea but would love to see mock-ups!
Possibly even industrial looking.
We are part of a creative industry with young and edgy people so I would like it to speak to the 20-30 somethings primarily. Edgy, almost dirty you could say. We work with corporate clients but don't want to feel or look corporate. We want them to realize why they come to us for our story telling and animation.
Here is a producer demo reel we do work with to get a feeling of our scope of work. http://marniproductions.com/
