I like how you came up with something different than lines and bursts. What if you took #75 with the horizontal text and started the text more on top of it? Put the "W" in the center of your design for instance. Could you do a more bold, more rounded font without serifs? Also, what about doing two different color mock ups? One with the tan "104.7" and tan circles GREEN and one ORANGE? Thanks!!
Thank you for your work on our designs. Our final decision on the winner will not be instant as I would like to get further input from my committee. I wanted to be sure that you caught a general message the I just posted on the site:
As the contest is ending in just a few hours... I want to thank everyone who has submitted entries, especially those who have taken my suggestions and done multiple revisions. Although Logo Tournament has some great qualities, it is unfortunate that only one artist can win the contest. WFRN is open to finding additional graphic artists to assist us in designing our promotional products and marketing material. This includes, but is not limited to designing: mailing postcards, billboards, t-shirts, promotional contest logos and especially web banners of varying sizes. Of these, I like the #163 layout the best... Suggestions: try replacing the blue text with purple and filling in the "flower/sun" image so that it's not see thru. Maybe trying a few different things with the flower/sun image too... For instance, I like the way logo #132 had a burst image more "pixelated" - with more dots. I don't want the image copied, but maybe if you do something in between your image and that one. I also like how in #156 the dots don't touch. Thanks
Thanks for the new designs. if you have time... On #194 could you do one as is yet put the sun/flower (yet at the same size) over so that it is touching some of the "F" as well as the "W"? Also, try one with a bigger sun/flower so that it touches both. And, please try a sun/flower without the brighter yellow circles on the inside.
