Welcome! Its great to see fellow believers here. I pray God blesses this transition!

My concept is a tapestry. It shows unity of many threads to form the body of your church. It also tells that we are all needed to make His kingdom complete. It shows an intersecting which can be a strong visual as well, as many of us come from various backgrounds, but are united.

The intersecting can be an abstract reference to the actual West Line as well.

I welcome any feedback that you feel may be helpful.

Thanks Paul! Looks great! We are all really liking this tapestry concept. Something we noticed is how it could resemble buildings/city with the Westline running through it. Would love to see a couple more variations of that icon, maybe highlighting the city/buildings or Westline (it almost could be a "W" if it was turned on its side). Nice work!

Paul,
Some more feedback we are getting from the team is that some may mistake the tapestry for crosses or some thought they looked like inverted crosses....here are some thoughts that could avoid that:

i think it would look less like a cross if it was more offset. Like the uprights were more to the left side of the icon....extending the horizontals more to the right.
also more of an exaggerated perspective...getting larger towards the right....

thanks for you work!

Brian - #34 and #35 take a different view of the same concept. It is cleaner and minimal, but the tapestry really seems to weave. (also a slight hint at a "W" if you look real hard.) No overt cliches in this one. The cross imagery is gone.

Thanks for the update! I think we still like the original icon better. I like it's perspective. What about a version of this turned slightly clockwise? I'm really hoping for this one, one of my personal favorites for sure

getting closer. can we see what it looks like if you add a vertical section on the far left? Extend the top horizontal section to the right just a little. Also could you try to incorporate some sort of image tha twould help indicate locations...perhaps a square at the end of the horizontal line...or several squares with one of a different color. Let me know if you want more clarification on that one.

Hey Brian - If you could keep it ranked in the top 5 as currently, it will allow me to continue working on the design for you as you have requested. During the "Top 5 phase" only the top 5 designers can work further. I'm out right now, but will certainly continue to work on the design when I return.

#76 | Similar concept, but with stops on the map/grid. This speaks of the actual westline.

#78. The tracks form an abstract W,L,C,....They show unity by coming together and moving in the same direction.

#82 #83 this is a VERY important aspect. Your new logo needs to work in social media, These concepts work as both your logo and your social media icons. Its a fun way for members to show support and spread the message by using it for their icons as well.

#84 #85 These tell the whole story well ...A slightly different take on the original

#86 | Shows the versatility.

My line of thinking is as follows.
#85 could act as the main logo.
#83 and #86 conform the main logo into the social icon. Or the social icon can just be the main logo.

I think this would be a cool design for your marketing materials. Picture the lines intersecting or crossing a business card or flyer. It can tie all of your marketing together.

Thanks for all your work. Based on your submissions I think we are close to landing on the look that we want. here is a link to an image of some of the adjustments we would like you to make. We like the icon to look more like a "W", with the line to extend across the logo between the text lines. Also we would like a circle around the image. (ignore our font, keep the same font from your design). let me know if you have any questions!
thanks again!

Looks good! A couple more thoughts: We like the middle tower to be a bit shorter than the other two, and the icon a bit smaller. Also like the heavier weight to the font of "westline" as in version #20. Thanks again!
