Hi,

Please let me know if you'd like any revisions. I'd be happy to provide them. Thanks!

rapunzel,

Appreciate you contributing your efforts. I like the simplicity of this mark...I have a few colleagues that are also reviewing these initial designs, so stay tuned for modifications. If you could explore incorporating horse related elements, that would reflect the horse properties/ranches they company will be listing. Stay on the simple yet elegant trail.

How would you feel about exploring Arts and Crafts as a font? Or something in that zone?

#100 - simplification of my first entry

#101 - added the spur for the horse related element

I'll explore using an Arts and Crafts font. Do you want this for the company name, or the graphic letters, or both?

Thanks for the feedback!

At this stage, don't take your designs too far, but I'll leave it up to you how to incorporate the A&C font. My colleagues will be commenting on the designs today so I don't want to create extra work for you before they do.

Entry #100 and #101 may also work using a key as the icon vs the spur/arrow. Just an observation.

On all your entries it may be worth considering, say, a horse icon (profile of running horse or portrait of head) instead of the WE. Or perhaps an equestrian related door knocker.

Ok - I'll try all of the above! Thanks for the feedback! Pam

Pam, you may have seen that the contest was extended four days. The client was hoping to see a mark that more resembled the logo of one of his current companies...(see WCRE&T Logo Art.jpg, 28KB in Contest Brief). If you're game, see if you can take Entry # 69, #100 and #101 and tweak those in the spirit of that. They certainly don't have to match, just be closer to a cattle brand. Thx

I'm game! I'll get working on it. Thanks!

#190 - #194 - variations of my 3 designs based on referenced 'cattle brand' look

#195 & #196 - variations using a horseshoe as the basis for the 'e'

Let me know if any of these are on the right track. I'd certainly be willing to provide more options based on your feedback. Especially if you wish to see a different font for the company name, or coloration, etc

Thanks so much!

Pam, appreciate you getting back in the saddle on this. Let me get a reaction on entries #190, 191 and 192, but my suggestion would be to shift the balance a bit between the E and the W...right now the E is more dominant so (in my eyes) it stages as EW vs WE. If I were to guess, I'd think my client would find the lower case e in entries 193 and 194 a bit too playful. Interesting direction with the horseshoe fashioned into an E...might want to do just a regular E as well. Good stuff.

P.S. Don't concern yourself w colors at the moment, though if you do, browns and tans are the likely options.

Pam, awaiting input from the client and sales team...appreciate your newest efforts. Stay tuned.

Pam, if #192 design advances, the only adjustment I imagine is to have the W move up and the E move down so there is more "weight" on the W.

Ok -thanks for the feedback. I'll revise #192 and resubmit. Pam

#203 & #204 - moved W up and E down; in addition adjusted the size of the letters. Thanks! Pam
