Is it possible to incorporate "WP" in the crest? Also, the spelling on Platte is incorrect. This is definitely going in the right direction!

Could you use some gold accents? Also, let's try a different royal blue...not too purple though. See you what you can do with that.

Remove the yellow in the shield, and I wonder if you make the lettering white and then make one with gray scrolling and one with gold scrolling. I like the shape of the letters and the symbols inside the crest. See if that works.
