West Lawn United Methodist ChurchLogo Design Contest

Thank you for the designs! I like them both and love the flame around the cross. Could you offer something a little less busy, that maybe does not include the words "United Methodist?" Also, can I see less gradient features (we will use this often on embroidered shirts and less detailed print jobs). Finally, we need to stay away from the "maroon and gold" tones - and go with more red/yellow.

Please not not use the words "West Lawn United." We only want it to read "West Lawn" or "West Lawn Church"

You can add "United Methodist," or "United Methodist Church," but we feel that is implied by the United Methodist logo and cross.

Also, feel free to offer a different color choice than the yellow. We need to keep the flame red, but the yellow could be different, or changed to black. We do not want this to look maroon and gold.

I would like to see some design ideas that include an illustration of a globe or world.

I am open to using another color other than bold yellow. We have to keep the red in the flame, but I'd like to see another color option instead of the bright yellow.

In some of these designs, I do like the word "West" in one color, and the word "Lawn" in another color.

I like some more modern elements - like arches and paint-like lines/etches (#31)

I am drawn more to the golden color, rather than the mustard yellow.

I really like the sweeping lines in #42 and #38
