Color Preferences
I would like to stay in keeping with our current color scheme which is primarily purple. Complimentary colors could include aqua/teal. I have attached a palette for a jump off.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
If a dancer is included, I would like it to be abstract since we teach a variety of ages and styles and both female and males. No ballet dancers, dance shoes, etc. Several dance studios in our area incorporate an abstract wave since we are close to the ocean, so I would like to avoid that and have something completely unique. ADDING TO MY BRIEF: I would like to see some submissions with an abstract dancer created from paint brush strokes or sketches. Our website is wcmovementproject.com and we will be revamping it incorporate the new logo. It will give an idea of our colors and studio vibe. I've attached images of abstract dancers incorporated into studio logos that I like for reference.

I would love to see a logo incorporating an abstract / paintbrush dancer in a leap or jump of some sort. Something active, implying movement. Thank you all for your continued efforts! ~ Mia

Also would like to note that we frequently refer to ourselves by our initials "WCMP". Would like to see some options with an emphasis on the initials as well as the full name. Thank you so much!! ~ Mia

I have added a file attachment of a palette of colors. Since we will be using our new logo on black tee shirts, I would like to have two or three colors and no black. The primary color should be the purple with one or two added colors. I also attached two sample studio logos incorporating abstract dancers that I also like. Thank you! ~ Mia

Thank you all for your continued work on revisions and responses to my specific requests on each of your logos. I appreciate all of the designs you are creating! Very much like the painted graphics that are in motion and the clean fonts. Keep them coming! ~ Mia

I have just uploaded two screen shots of dancers in "C" jumps. I would love to see if a designer could create a logo where a dancer in a C arch substitutes for the "C" in the text of "Coast". ~ Mia

Hello designers! Your submissions continue to impress me and those that I have shown. At this point in the contest, I am open to seeing anything new and different just for variations / options and on the chance that something amazing is created that I would not have thought of. So feel free to deviate from the brief if you are so inclined. I appreciate all of the work everyone has done so far and thank you all for being so responsive with revisions. ~ Mia

I will be away from my computer and unable to respond or provide feedback until mid-afternoon, Pacific Standard Time today. I will check new designs periodically from my cell but won't be able to comment until later. I will also be asking for some outside opinions to help me choose and ask for revisions. Thank you again for your all of your wonderful submissions. So pleased with the results. ~ Mia
