The rules here don't allow us to use concepts from other designers... but as you like it I asked the two designers that used previously to use it... when I have an answer, I hope positive, as I will share the prize with them, I will reinstate the logo without any problem.

Our owner is wondering if we could see a version where the tooth icon could replace the "W" in "West," since the bottom of the tooth looks like a "W" already.

I think that maybe you should ask the admins to reopen the contest to all the designers to have new concepts and ideas based in the changes that you comment.
Anyway, if you (or the owners) want to ask me about any change, just let me know to send them or new concepts.... even that, as I said, the best is to allow all the designers to send their new ideas following the new guidelines.

I have heard feedback from the owner of this office, and he's concerned there is not, overall, enough variation in the designs. I know that the selection phase isn't the best time to ask this, but if I move you into the top position in the next day, I'd appreciate seeing some creative departures from the work you've already created. Particularly, the owner isn't thrilled with designs that simply have smile shapes next to or incorporated into the name of the office. We'd appreciate you trying to think outside the box a bit when creating variations on the ideas you've already presented. Some potential ideas to consider: West Allis is very manufacturing based, and it's home to the Wisconsin State Fair and the stadium where the Milwaukee Brewers play baseball. Thank you for all you work!

Very nice design. Great font and color choice. We are trying to avoid tooth shaped elements, though we'll make exceptions for abstract designs.

We want to avoid tooth imagery — smiles are okay though. I do like this font.
