Thank you so much for your submissions. I had gotten to the point of saturation on the old ideas and find yours a breath of fresh air.
Could you:
1. include the window element as it is in #211 into #210? Its okay if it means widening the font a bit. Basically, we are wondering if it is possible to blend the elements of #210's strong font with #211's "W" window.
2. on #209, we don't like the checkmark and do want to be cautious about doing the same old rooftop idea that people are inclined to do. BUT, is there a way to do the checkmark upside down...maybe have it over only one window and get rid of the other window, so that it is more a rooflike element than a clearly drawn rooftop? Maybe it could stay the same shape but be skewed to the side over the window? Does this make any sense at all? (sorry!)
3. I am still hung up on trying to include a bird, but only IF it makes sense. Frankly, at this point, I just haven't been thrilled with how it has been going. Even so, do you have any interest/ability in trying to incorporate a bird (that we could later bring to life)? Maybe next to the wordmark? (Do you want to kill me now or later?)
One more thought on #210. If we are using red and black, we would like to incorporate a bit of yellow. Do you see anywhere to do this?
I am thinking that might be the way to do the solid background for a yard sign. To that end, could you show us how this might look with a yellow background?
Thank you for the variations! Will get back to you on the other ones once I talk to my partner.
#233 looks like a house and a steering wheel to me, unfortunately. However, I do like the image with the line separating it from the name. Wish I could see a good bird character there. I just love the idea of having an astute/smart/friendly looking yellow bird character right where the house image is.
The birds you have used so far are ok, but really more stylized than I was hoping to come away with. There was a bird that had been submitted here (that was removed) that I liked for its realistic yet drawn quality. I guess I'd just like to see something that looks like it could come alive.
So far we are leaning towards #227 and #232. I like #227 but it feels as if it is missing something (not necessarily the bird) and I would not want to add too much to it because it would be too busy. On #232 I like the font, the bird seems to get lost and hard to see what it is at a quick glance, maybe try the bird version as my partner mentioned on the precious comment. I also like the under line the only thing is that I would like it not to be or look like a sad face (, anything you could do with it?.
Good Morning, here's a revised logo. The "steering Wheel" was suppose to represent a palladium window. It's ok, I head worst. My .02 in a "more realistic looking bird" is that, it has a tendency to look more like clip art and takes away from the professionalism that goes in selecting the right font, the right layout and the right color combo. Please let me know if there's anything else you would like to see, I'm here to make sure you walk out with a logo you and your partner are happy with. Thanks, DonGato
We like #232. Is there a way to make the line below the lettering in a slightly different shape so that it doesn't look as much like a frown?
the bird: there is an explanation in the brief. But a lot of it is that while people won't know the significance, it will set us apart a bit upon first glance. The rest is explained in the brief.
I'm still not happy with the bird itself though. I know you said that it could have a clip art look, and I guess that means it isn't a good idea. But I would love to see a bird that is less stylized and corporate looking and more character like if it is possible.
my partner likes #227 but I think the window doesn't work on this font. Not sure anything can be done here....maybe something he and I need to sort out. Just figured I'd let you know.
Just curious...what do you think of 272? I like it. I imagine that you wouldn't want to say it looks too "clip art" like if we like it. Just wondering if you are pleased with it yourself.
Getting some great feedback on the designs. We have played with them a bit on our end in the meantime. Could you, therefore,
1. Put a house (like in #284) in the W of #281? 2. Can you put a bird on it that is somewhere between the one in #281 already and the one in #272 (i.e., between those two sizes and between perched on top and deeper into the Y). 3. could you show us what this could look like on a red background? (I realize the font color needs to change accordingly)
It appears that it is coming down to 2 designs. Will be soliciting some revisions on both and then making the final decision. Thanks!
I guess a yellow back ground with a yellow bird isn't really going to work.
so far we have #315, #316, #319, #317 and #320 are the favorite color combos. The only thing I'd like to see is maybe have the bird's tail not cut into the Y, maybe put the tail behind the Y or even the way you had it in #272
On #317 and #318 could you do a lighter, brighter Red? just curious as to how it would look with a lighter red
