This logo is clever and fun.

The 'W' has no weeds in it. Though it is surrounded by weeds - they are kept at bay by the presence of the indomitable consonant. Can you see the snail?

Let me know if you would like any changes.

Hi Mallory,

That is a living logo! I love the snail, he looks busy and ready to eat up the weeds!

On #16 I wonder if a bright yellow could be made of the "W" and name below and how that would look, or even blended a little like the plants are? Just to stand out a bit more.

This logo is a bit busier looking than what I was thinking but...its awesome. It is beyond clever and fun, it is artistic, modern, and very friendly.

Thank you so much for posting,, Jim.

I added what I think you said in entry #51, bright yellow 'W' and blended name.

I'm also going to try the name 'WEEDAWAY' imposed over a long block of the weed bits. Much like the 'W' is now, but with much smaller bits. I think by making it even busier - it will be less busy. By that I mean the smaller pieces will blend together better and create a more unified shape.

I'll have that up this afternoon.

I increased the pattern density to smooth out the readability. I thought entries #57, #58, and #59 were a bit too dense, so I increased the size of the bits to make #60.

Let me know if you like this direction or if you would like to see something different.

Hi Mallory,

I think something different. I do like #51, with its creativity and plants(of course the snail). I wonder if the "W" portion could be smaller and less dominating over the name? What do you think? Rearranged a little, I am not sure what to say.

#57-60 are almost like my logo now that I am trying to change. Although yours are much nicer!

Cheers, Jim.

Hi Mallory,

Your entry #51 gets a 1st rank from just about everybody I know who has commented on this tourny.

I am personally stuck on my 1st ranked logo for Weedaway, however, I have another business that needs a logo and I want to go with your entry #51 for that business.

Now my question is, do I re-use logotournament.com or can we deal directly? I do not want to cause a conflict for anyone but I am uncertain as to how contact information is distributed after the tournament is over.

If the option is too start another logo tournament, are you able to search and find my request easily if I give you the name of my other company now?

Once again thank you so much, Jim.

Great! Glad you like #51. I looked around the LogoTournament site for info about this, but I did not readily see anything.

Holding another contest would benefit LogoTournament, but it would be unfair for other designers to work on something which they cannot win. If there is a way to host a private contest where you only invite designers of your choosing, then LogoTournament is an option. It wouldn't be much of a contest though.

I have not yet won a contest in LogoTournament and do not know the process of payment and file transfer.

We could deal directly and you pay me through PayPal. This option is the quickest and easiest and I do not think it goes against LogoTournament policy since I am not going to win this contest. If you like this option, let's go ahead and continue conversation by email.
