Web ServiceLogo Design Contest

hi, I've played with idea of using the 'web' element of the logo to communicate a transformation - out of the darkness into the light - the e is inverted to indicate things have been turned on their heads - this is my initial idea, I think it has some legs, let me know what you think, I can develop it a bit further,

This is great, but perhaps there is too much going on. What if you get rid of the 'vw' trick and focus on your alterations to the word 'web'.

Alternatively, what if you got rid of the flipped 'e' and turned the 'vw' into a solid unit that looked like an icon?

hi, here is my simplified revision. does VW have a meaning for your company ? - just wondering as I know you mentioned it needs to be relevant, just not sure how the VW together would tie-in to the name ?
