Chicago, Illinois Talk Radio station covering all of Chicagoland's 8.4mm residents. Target audience is the upscale, well-educated Adult 25-64 year old craving non-argumentative, intelligent radio that covers politics, lifestyle and recreation.

Our Ideas & Additional Information

We have used the attached WCGO logo since 2014 when we had just AM1590. We are getting ready to launch an FM station with the AM, so need to include that frequency to show: WCGO AM1590 FM95.9.

We are looking for some fresh design ideas that incorporate our call letters WCGO, features our dial positions of AM1590 and FM95.9 and identifies our SmartTalk brand. The logo ideas I've included are already being used for our other brands, but the AM/FM logo example is to show how they can be incorporated together.

Please view the 5th montage png example that includes some of our Chicago competitor radio stations. Notice a sameness to them all...we need to be different!

We can lose the word "radio" in the logo, as well as the microphone clipart.

We like a more a square configuration/aspect ratio versus a horizontal...translates more easily to merchandise like hats/tee's/pens and other items.

So far, a wonderful collection of submissions! We are gravitating towards the clean, bold, simple look that features the call letters (WCGO) and the frequencies (1590 and 95.9), along with a sub-reference to "Chicago's SmartTalk". Keep them coming, please!

Also...please note that some entries in the "not interested" bucket may be moved back into the ranked bucket..particularly those that are similar to entries in the ranked section. We haven't made a final determination on those in the incoming section, but will continue to analyze every entry, very carefully. We greatly appreciate all of your efforts.

Don't pay too much attention to the ranked section order...we're simply putting those we favor into that section and in another couple of days will start to order them by preference. Keep 'em coming!
