I like #49 overall the best and love the idea of bringing the R into the image as water, however I prefer the bolder colors you used in #47/#43, especially on the mountains. (Caroline)
I like the idea of the river as the R, but am having a very hard time seeing it. I think we'll run the risk of being known as Wate Farm. Is there a way to keep the concept but have it be slightly less subtle? (Claire)
thankyou for your appreciation. i am completely understand with your concern about too subtle R as river, i've try couple of rough sketch to see what it looks like if a tweak the river to be closely smiliar with letter R but i get even weirder river #70 :( my solution is to keep the main word clearly readable (in this case : WATER) and then tweak the letter R on "not so main" word (in this case : FORD) because i believe people who see this logo will quickly associating with their vocabulary, which i believe they will pick WATERFORD word as this is likely the closest word. #69#71 so what do you think?
Guz, I like the idea of the river as a letter, and I like the way the image is in #47. (currently in rank 3) Using that shape, would it make sense for one side of the W to come up and make the river? That might be less confusing to read than the "R".
I'd also like to see how it looks without the birds. (Jake)
thanks for your feedback. extending one of the W's leg is already developed by another designer. i can only give you another option, here i try again by tweaking letter E into a river, i hope you like it. thanks.
Guz, I am listening to things our farm members like and don't like and would love to see # 71 changed just a bit. Could you please make the Waterford and Run all the same color, eliminate the birds, try bringing the bottom land line down just slightly over the O to form the left hand side of the R, and possibly make one more layer rolling mountain inside the main image? I know that's a lot of changes for one image, but I think it may help us better see the parts that we like and the things that are not quite calling to us yet. We love so many of your ideas, and would love to explore the possibilities! thank you so much.
Hi All, i've made some revision based on your direction, and create a couple of alternatives on the way of formning better recognized R River if this is what you mean, coz im not quite understand with this word : "just slightly over the O to form the left hand side of the R". can you please explain this more if my revission still doesnt meet your request...
