After reviewing your brief and the past couple of designs, here is the logo I came up with for you. I wanted to create a round all-encompassing emblem so that it would look great on apparel, as well as balls or anything else you may have in mind! Let me know what you think. Thanks!

The white border allows for it to be printed or placed onto any color, without having to alter the graphics!

Thanks for the logo. I'm trying to stress the words Big South more because that's the main name.
National Qualifier is actually less important. I do like the net & the elements you used. the ones without the state i like best. thanks kirk

Here is a revised set of entries for your review. Let me know if you have any specific color scheme in mind, as changing the color would be quick and easy. I do like how the blue/brown/orange feels though--something about it feels southern.
