What We Do
The Washington Cornhuskers, a chapter within the University of Nebraska Alumni Association, is a non-profit corporation in Washington State to foster fraternal and social interests and concerns of alumni of the University of Nebraska and Nebraskans living in the Pacific Northwest.
The chapter was founded to promote recruitment of students for the university, provide scholarships for students of chapter members and other students residing in the Northwest, and serve as a means of providing fellowship for Nebraskans and friends of Nebraska in the Northwest. We are bound by a common “thread,” our Nebraska heritage.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
UPDATE: I am looking for a new logo that does not include the city skyline.
My logo needs to capture two ideas: the University of Nebraska, and Seattle (and/or greater Washington State). I have attached here our current logo and the University's style guide. I do NOT require any of the logos in the style guide to be used, but you are welcome to do so if you like.
Ideas to capture the Seattle area: Sasquatch, mountains, ocean, the Space Needle.
Ideas to capture the University of Nebraska: Corn, cornstalks, cornfield.
