Thanks for the excellent work. Entry #26 is quite intriquing. With a second look do you think there is any way to make it one step more distinctive while keeping it clean and simple?
Regarding some of the others, we feel that the first letter has to unmistakenly be a "V".
Yeah I guess more can be done to make it more distinctive, my thoughts were that 'less is more' especially on luxury technology brands. If you take a look at panasonic, pioneer or sony they are simple bold letter forms.
I've taken it back to basics with 45 and 46. Its a custom font so that automatically makes it unique and therefore distinctive. I think the extra flourishes cheapen and would look dated in a few years, the new example are simple, elegant and timeless. The more I think about it the more I'm also of the opinion that this would be best a one colour logo. That way your mark would work on printed material but also as a die-cast logo if you ever come to add them to your hand sets. Think of the chrome Sony logo you get on your expensive hi-fi... ooooh
