The firm is primarily fixed income focused, with particular expertise in US public finance, but has technical product experience in a wide range of asset classes. Services include product design, build, strategy, advisory, sales and project leadership.

Clients include large multi-national capital markets data vendors, investment banks, institutional asset managers and private equity firms.

No real preference, nothing too vivid or loud, but not black and white either.

VMG provides business/strategy and technology consulting services. So evoking upward momentum/graphical results or modernization is a key theme. Alternatively, the name VMG is a sailing reference, Velocity Made Good. It is the optimal path between two points, when you can't go direct.
