Thanks for your entry. I would love to see how the bamboo stalk and leaves could be more noticeable or defined in the logo. No ideas specifically, but something to amp that up a bit. Cheers!
Thank you! I'm liking the two new renditions. I don't know if I'm entirely sold on the font, but I love the interaction between the 'd', 'b' and bamboo stalk. If you were to look at other fonts, sans serif choices are a good bet.
Thank you! I'm liking #29 the best. Possible tweaks might include playing with font weight between 'vivid' and 'bamboo', and looking at two different colors for each. They're running together into one word, as is, but I think looking at one or both of those approaches might help out. Just my two cents on the matter.
Also, just posted an update on the main contest page you might be interested in. Just wanted to get some additional thoughts out there about the logo contest. Thinking out loud mostly, but I figure it could be beneficial.
I like what you did with #131. I think that has a lot of potential as an abstract concept.
In the same regard, there may be potential to play with some sort of concept using a green leaf and a water droplet. Just something that has been milling around in my head.
I agree, I like #149. There is something about it that seems a bit 'unfinished', though. Maybe that isn't the right word, but to me it doesn't have an over-arching shape. It's possible that it's too abstract? Interesting fact: I'm getting a peacock vibe from it!
I could see some potential in having a similar shaped water drops with leaves somehow overlaid or contained within it? Just tossing out some ideas, but I would love to see what you can do to further develop it.
Take a look at the comments I just left on the main contest page. If you can come up with any ways to make the abstract shape any more visually interesting (and able to stand alone), we'd love to see your ideas.
Thanks and we look forward to seeing what you come up with!
We like the direction #200 is headed. Here are some additional thoughts and suggestions: 1. Can you try experimenting with the gradients? Making them more subtle, rather than the glaring shine. 2. Maybe some variation between the two shapes in terms of coloration? 3. It's almost forming an overall shape of a leaf itself. That might be something to play off of...?
You're welcome to try any other thoughts you might have. Looking forward to what you can come up with. Thanks again!
#220 and #221 are giving us a FireFox vibe, though it is a good example of a shape that is appealing and interesting to look at.
#222 and #223 seem to lose the definition of a shape, as it has in #200. It may be the mashup of colors that is giving them the appearance of being washed out...? Not sure.
Again, thank you for your continued efforts! Apologies that I don't have any specific thoughts or ideas for revisions, or a new concept, but do you have any thoughts?
On entry #251 I have made some small revisions that make it quite colorful, utilizing the green but also other colors that make it very different. If you would be interested in seeing these revisions I will be glad to upload them :)
