~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

Hey all, thanks for participating! Let me say first that I'm especially impressed by those logos that stylized our name with logos that seemed to look like people, or conjure a feeling of a "personal service". In particular I am VERY impressed with Mare Ingenii's contribution, ingenious!

I don't like baby feet, as that limits our "vital record" market position to Birth Certificates/Records. I also would like to see some 2.0 color use (I think I'm most impressed with Charles Sels' use of color here...I also really like the font he used, but I'm afraid the logo is a bit too high vertically).

Can we stay away from shadows and shine as those won't print well.

So after taking a harder look, I just wanted to express, stream of consciousness, some additional thinking:

I'd like to explore the use of a stylized "V" to appear as a check-mark and/or folder. DIYinDesign, Logeko, and grafikus (and some others) have explored using designs with those attributes (some as both checkmarks, folders, etc), and though I don't want to limit the breadth in ideas, I thought I'd compliment that.

I think that the folder concept and checkmark didn't work in reality (sorry). I really like submission #13, and would encourage y'all to work with the name "Vital.com" where, to the extent you style the mark, the "V" gets the emphasis. I'm just having a hard time visualizing us going with a logo that doesn't emphasize the "V".

#13 , Mare.Ingenii, you're super close, but I need to see a restyled version I'd like the "V" to be the ONLY stylized version in the logo, meaning: the "V" from #14 would replace the "V" next to the "V" in "Vital.com". I'd also like to see in different colors and letters.

Jelomimbs, a lot of potential power in your submission #248, though I'd like to see some different color and slightly different versions of your mark.

#269 is really cool, I love the font and really like the mark, but I think it's a bit too "airline" for us...I hope you'll consider restyling a bit.
