I thought since affluent houses tend to usually sit atop hills, I wanted to portray that feeling. The window design also suggests luxury, and not your plain four squares which are overused in RE logos, and by reading your brief I gathered that you want to stand out from the rest.
The winding road is leading the buyer to the house, sort of function of what you do - where at the beginning it naturally says "at your service" :)
Let's stay away from cursive fonts and also move the slogan into the underline like in #14 so that the overall logo isn't so tall.... I'd prefer a logo that has a wider feel to it
I would love to see some more original concepts from you.... something entirely different! I was thinking maybe a logo with my initials..... but I think the image of a house automatically creates the idea of a realtor, where as just a logo with my initials could be for ANY business........is there a way we can combine the image of a home with my initials included?
Can you place the initials into #18 (without the cursive of course) I like the symmetrical look of that design and I think i like the underline as well.... helps to differentiate my name and my slogan
I could have sworn i left some feedback for #28 but its missing.... anyways i'll repeat it here:
i really like how the logo is turning out.... a few more suggestions - i really like the font used for the slogan in entry #27 so lets try that or something thats a more powerful font - i like the slogan to be gold, instead of white...i think its a great contrast - seems like the gates are shorter, creating this awkward space between the top of the gate, and the bottom of the fence..... lets raise the roof a litte and close the gap between the roof and the gate.... this should give some room to make the INITIALS a bit taller/bigger (if that makes the logo look worse lets leave the size of the initials as is, but i'd like to see how it would look anyways)
re #30... still not crazy about the font used for the slogan... its not grabbing me :( Can we try a few other fonts and also make the size smaller; the size used on #27 or #29 is perfect i think
Hi Vino, I believe it's due to different font weight (thinner) in the older entries. I took the door from one of them and put it on the new one, complete with the initials. I think the initials should be consistent, so it won't look good to keep the thicker J if the V is thinner, you know? How is it now?
Yes I agree I like it much better this way!, I still can't decide if I like the shortens gates like before or the extended gates in the current design.... I'll need to think it over!!!
